Carrot Kheer


Ingredients:

Carrot 4
Milk 4 Cups
Sugar 1 Cup( as needed)
Cardamom Powder 1/2 Teaspoon

Method:
  • Wash the carrot and peel it and cut in in chunks.
  • Pressure cook the carrot.
  • Grind the cooked carrot in a mixcy and make a paste.
  • Meanwhile boil the milk in a pan.
  • Add the carrot paste to the boiling milk and mix well.
  • Boil it well and keep stirring.
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder.
  • Carrot kheer is ready.
  • Cool it and serve the carrot kheer.

Wow....a different take on gajar ka halwa.The carrots look very fresh and tasty :)
