Javarisi (Sago ) Payasam


Ingredients:

Javarisi (Sago) 1 Cup
Sugar 3/4 Cup (As needed)
Milk 1/2 litre
Vanilla Essence 1 Teaspoon
Condensed Milk 2 Tablespoon
Cashew nut 12

Method:
  • Soak javarisi in water for 1 hr.
  • Add the javarisi to boiling water and cook it.
  • Filter it and keep aside.
  • Break cashew nut into small pieces.
  • Boil water in pan and add the cashew nut pieces and cook it for 10 minutes.
  • Filter it and keep aside.
  • Add milk to a pan and boil it.
  • Add the filtered javarisi and boil it for a while.
  • Add sugar and mix well till sugar dissolves.
  • Add condensed milk and vanilla essence.
Tasty javarisi payasam is ready.

i tried the javarisi payasam and it turned out really well,the taste was also good and different, i liked it very much

hi, I tried out this payasam.It came out well.Instead of sugar I used condensed milk and cardamom powder instead of essence.
