Garam Masala


Cloves (Krambu or Lavangam) 50 gms
Cinnamo (Pattai) 50 gms
Annasi Poov (Star Anise) 50 gms
Cashew nut 100 gms
Kasa Kasa (
Poppy seeds) 100 gms
Jeeragam (Cummin seeds) 100 gms

  • Fry each item separately in a frying pan ( no need to add oil).
  • Then cool the spices after frying it.
  • Grind all the spices together in a mixcy.
  • Garam masala powder is ready.
Homemade aromatic garam masala is gives a special taste when added to the dishes.
