Chili Paneer


Ingredients:

Paneer 350 gms
Corn Flour 1/2 Cup
Ginger n Garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Soya Sauce 1 Tablespoon
Ajinomoto 1/4 Teaspoon
Green Chili finely chopped 1 Tablespoon
Coriander leaves a handful
Big onion 1
Oil to fry paneer

To marinate paneer:
  • Mix corn flour, ginger n garlic paste, salt with water and make a paste.
  • To this add small pieces of paneer.
  • Marinate it for 1/2 hr.
  • Then fry the paneer and keep aside.(Add the fried panner to hot water for few second and drain it, this will keep paneer soft)
Method:
  • Fry the chopped onions in a fry pan for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add finely chopped green chili and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add soya sauce, ajinomoto and fried paneer mix well.
  • Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
Its great with fried rice and also a great snack.

Jeera Paneer Fry


Ingredients:

Paneer 250 gms
Jeera 1 Teaspoon
Dry Red Chili 3 to 4
Urid dhal 1 Tablespoon
Chili powder 1 Teaspoon (as needed)
Curry Leaves a bunch
Small Onion(Shallots) 4 to 5
Oil
Salt

Method:

  • Add oil to pressure cooker and add jeera, urid dhal, dry red chili and curry leaves, saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add onion and chili powder saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add paneer, salt and 1/2 cup water ( Panner should be covered in water).
  • Add close the lid and cook the panner for 10 minutes.
  • Fry the paneer dry.
Jeera paneer is ready....Try it out and drop comments

Paneer Matter Masala


Ingredients:

Paneer 200 gms
Peas 1 Cup
Onion 2
Tomato 2
Ginger Paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Garlic Paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Cashew nut 12 (Powder it)
Coriander (Dhania) Powder 1 Teaspoon
Chili Powder 2 Teaspoon
Garam Masala 1/2 Teaspoon
Jeera Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Jeera 1/4 Teaspoon
Oil

Method:
  • Add oil to pressure cooker and add jeera.
  • Add onion fry till it turns golden brown.
  • Add tomato and add all the powders and fry for few minutes.
  • Add cashew nut powder and little water, boil for few minutes.
  • Add paneer pieces, peas and salt.
  • Close the cooker for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
Paneer matter masala is great with naan, paratha and chapati.
